When announcing India's World Cup 2023 squad, Rohit Sharma loses his cool, saying, "Don't Ask Me Such Questions."
On Tuesday, the Indian cricket team unveiled its World Cup roster. While Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma (who have recently been a part of the limited-overs squads) were unable to make the selection, veteran hitting combo KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer, who have just returned from significant injury breaks, did. Rohit Sharma will serve as India's president, with Hardik Pandya serving as his assistant. Three left-arm spinners and three specialized pacers make up the team. The wicketkeepers will be Ishan Kishan and Rahul.
Ajit Agarkar, the head selector for the BCCI, made the announcement while Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, sat by his side. Rohit lost his composure during a question about "outside noise" at one point in the press conference.
"When we conduct news conferences in India, don't question me about such things. We don't want to listen to the noise outside. I've said it before and I'll say it again: we don't pay attention to those things, so I won't respond to your queries right now.
