Synopsis of the movie Kick: Despite their difficulties, two young people who work for different advertising firms grow closer.
Movie Review for Kick: No matter the genre, whether it's a romantic comedy or a crime thriller, content is crucial because that's how you draw in viewers. Santhanam's Kick, a rom-com, falls short of expectations in many ways. Particularly in light of DD Returns' success, where the one-liners were effective, this movie falls flat and fails to generate the same kind of energy.
Santhosh (Santhanam) and Shivani (Tanya Hope) are two characters that are first presented to us in the movie a little while later. They both work for different advertising agencies, and their sole goal is to win over their clientele. Shivani picks an ethical approach to do the same while Santhosh adopts a prohibited and unethical route. Shivani chooses to lodge a complaint against Santhosh and his business with the Ad Council because of his inappropriate behavior.
In the events that follow, Santhosh makes an effort to hide all of his misdeeds in an effort to protect himself and his AD business. By concealing his true identity, he also pursues his love for Shivani.
Will Shivani fall in love with Santhosh, or will their differences just escalate?

Kick has the same issue as the proverbial "too many cooks spoil the broth." The movie features a lot of comedians and established actors, but sadly none of their pairings are successful. The writing is poor and offers little to make you chuckle. In reality, the humor uses multiple meanings, making the majority of the lines cringe-worthy.
Kick has an intriguing premise—its principal players work for an advertising agency—but it doesn't fully exploit its potential. In truth, the filmmaker used a convenient method of adding humor, which ultimately caused the movie to flop miserably. Even Santhanam, who is usually great with his funny one-liners, has trouble because the writing as a whole lacks imagination. Tanya Hope and Santhanam, however, both gave good performances.
Although rather entertaining, the second half didn't really offer anything. Typically, the writing in rom-coms is more important than other components of the production. But in this case, neither side really matters that much.
