Microsoft just released an upgrade for the Teams app. Numerous new features, including animated backdrops, improved chat functionality, and seamless task synchronization, are included in the upgrade. According to the firm, the new capabilities would completely change how users interact with one another when collaborating and communicating.
A moving background
Teams Meetings' dynamic background feature lets you swap out the default background for a dynamic animation to create a more realistic virtual setting. Before a meeting begins, choose Effects & Avatars > Video effects on the pre-join screen, then choose a new animated background by clicking on the tiny video icon in the lower-left corner of the preview image.
Updates to the hover menu for chat messages
With an easy hover menu design, participating in threaded message replies or changing your own sent messages has become more user-friendly. The hover menu now includes the respond button symbol in addition to emoticons and reactions, allowing quick responses to incoming messages. Simply select the edit icon button that appears within the hover menu to amend a previously sent message.
Smaller chat improvements
Your everyday productivity can be increased by quickly skimming over the most important information in your chat interactions. You can now switch to condensed mode to make your discussions as useful as possible. In this mode, the chat window is customized by the insertion of time stamps, extra line breaks, and sender-identification markers
Syncing task lists in Microsoft Loop
The task synchronization feature of Microsoft Loop helps users stay organized by accurately tracking important tasks. Any changes made to a task list component in Outlook or Teams will be instantly propagated to all other applications. No matter which program you're using, you can easily keep informed and in control of your duties thanks to this.
