Review of the film Changure Bangaru Raja: a peculiar fusion of comedy and crime

Story: Bangaruraju (Karthik Ratnam), a village mechanic, is on a quest to reclaim the farms and honor that have been taken from his family. But when he is named the main suspect in the death of his bitter rival Somu Naidu (Raj Tirandasu), his life takes an unexpected turn. The true perpetrators are still unknown in a village where everyone is searching for valuable colored stones.

Examine: Changure A brave attempt to combine comedy with crime, Bangaru Raja succeeds, if only partially. In the charming town of Duggada in Narsipatnam, director Satish Varma spins a tale of mystery and humor. The movie explores the complexities of Bangaruraju's existence, his nuanced interactions with his fellow villagers, and his love for Manga, a female constable.

The principal character, played by Karthik Ratnam, puts up a great performance with nuanced conversation and careless body language. Satya excels in his role as Tata Rao, and Ravi Babu excels in his role as Gateelu. Both actors have perfect comedy timing, which further establishes their acting prowess. Some passages, though, fall flat. Although Goldie Nissy plays Manga, Bangaruraju's love interest and a policeman, effectively, her character should have been more subtly woven into the story to give it more depth. The story is furthered by Ajay as SI Sanyasi Rao, Nithya Sree, Ester Noronha, and the supporting ensemble of locals.

The film's tale is separated into four entertaining chapters: Bangaruraju, Tata Rao, Gateelu, and Truth. However, the film occasionally overreaches in its quest for eccentricity, thus losing some of its charm. Despite being promising, the writing should have used the outstanding ensemble cast more effectively. A decent cinematic experience is diminished by the generally slow pacing and some sections that seem unnecessary. The movie's sole song doesn't leave much of an impression after seeing, although Krishna Saurabh's score as a whole is passable. Karthik Vunnava's editing and NC Sundar's cinematography are successful in maintaining a steady pace.

Changure Bangaru Raja is an ambitious film that aims to combine humor and crime themes. It occasionally succeeds, largely as a result of the performances of its lead performers. This movie can provide for an excellent viewing experience if you appreciate leisurely stories with humor. It's best to approach it without having too many expectations, though.
